Michele M. Gressel is a native of Hamilton, Ohio and was educated in Hamilton and Cincinnati parochial schools.   Her undergraduate degree is from Indiana University in Bloomington. She graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law, and has an advanced tax degree from Georgetown University School of Law in Washington, DC.

After working briefly in Indianapolis as an estate tax attorney for the IRS, Michele returned to Hamilton and began the private practice of law in 1980. Her tax education has led to a concentration of her practice in advice to business owners and non-profit organizations, estate planning to preserve family resources, and estate administration. She has assisted in the establishment of many of the charitable organizations created in Butler County in the last 30 years. In recent years she has become more involved in solving the special estate planning problems of families of developmentally disabled persons. Michele is certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust law by the Ohio State Bar Association.

Since 1980 Michele has served as a volunteer for many Butler County non-profit corporations such as the Fairfield Community Foundation, the Hamilton and Fairfield Chambers of Commerce, and the Salvation Army.    She was the first woman to chair the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and has been honored as a Hamilton YWCA "Woman of Achievement." She has served on the search committees for the Hamilton Chamber Executive Director, the Miami University Hamilton Dean, and the Butler County Community Health Consortium Executive Director.

Michele spends her free time traveling, reading mystery stories and being entertained by her niece and five nephews.
